Dinsmore Web Pages

Dinsmore, Florida Page

One day, I got the bright idea of  searching the web to see if the community I grew up in had a presence on the web.  I used every search engine that I could find and could not find a page for Dinsmore.
My name is Ralph Dukes.  I was called by my initials when I was a child, growing up in Dinsmore.  My initials are "R.L.  My dad lived and operated a welding shop which was located at 6949 Pitts Road.  It was called "Dukes' Welding Shop."
I attended grammar school at Dinsmore Elementary.  The first few years at Dinsmore Elementary was in the old school building, which is now a play ground next to the two story convenience store on the corner of Old Kings Road and Civic Club Drive.
I also attended Paxon Jr Hi the first year after it was built and then Paxon Sr Hr.  I wonder if Dinsmore kids still attend these schools?
I was a member of Dinsmore Baptist Church during my childhood years.  Back then, I think  only the Methodist Church and the Baptist Churches were there.  The Dinsmore Baptist Church was a wooden building  in back of the present Brick Sanctuary.
This page is being created, in the hopes that past, present and future citizens of Dinsmore will find it on the web, send me an E-Mail and I can post their messages on this page and if they have a web page, I can  link it to this page.
I am linking the several pages that I found during my search of people in Dinssmore.  If you know of any other personal home pages, please let me know.
Thank you,

R.L. Dukes
                           Former Resident of Dinsmore
